CREATIVE COMMUNITY

LaTonya Yvette is a multimedia storyteller with extensive experience building a creative community at the intersection of style, art, literature and design. She has successfully advised, strategized, and intentionally crafted relationships between brands, artists, and spaces to create and build long-lasting communities with a purpose beyond the digital screen. Her strategy and consultation work is inspired by her upbringing in Brooklyn, New York with a family of artists and community leaders; extensive editorial career, research, and writing on how to connect folks with long-lasting impact. Her eye is wide, and her ability to implement with detail is unique. Her work spans several businesses and non-profits as a creative voice of leadership, which reminds us it’s not just who you know, it is who and what, you are and build.

The Mae House

Leveraging relationships with brands like Kohler, Schoolhouse, Farrow & Ball, and Fire Clay Tile, and seeing the lack of spaces that incorporated art, impact, and sacred space, used my ability to creatively think outside of the box in how we can generate key brand opportunities focused on long-lasting relationships and care to build decks, pitch, design and renovate, a house I purchased in upstate, New York. The Mae House, one of very few of its kind, with a singular build-out that thoughtfully considers how we not only rest, but how we build a relationship between brands, a rtists, and everyday people who dare to, “radically imagine” work beyond a single moment in time.
